OCAD

After visiting OCAD yesterday, I realized I wanted to take some design courses there! That would be neat if I could graduate at U of T with my double majors and then have a design degree at OCAD! It's not too far away either.. a block away from College St. (U of T). I'll probably enroll into one course there first and see how it goes!

And I just finished this design today! (It's going into my portfolio, yay!) Mike is really cool! I've designed a few sites before for him and they all turned out great thanks to his good artistic eye!

Ah and I finished 10 site bulk orders in the morning... and then some graphics work.. and yeah, tomorrow will be dedicated to writting that French Art paper of sure! And that... bio paper.. and... studying for geology.. and... doing my calculus problem sets.. and doing the readings for biology...

I completed a lot yesterday, it was a pretty profitable day, could have been better though...

I've also registered the domain for my new niche site idea along with some articles (just a hint: they were so long to write but atleast I was reviewing for my course). Lets just say the site revolves around plants, animals and:


Today will be a slow day since I'm going to continue on that project and finish off some small orders from people.

A random thought, these shoes look cool! It's almost spring, I'll need to drop by Queen Street West for some new shoes AND look for a nice apartment next year with my futur room mates! The closer to Queen St. W, the better!

Niches!

I've compiled a pretty nice list of niche sites I'm going to construct for my network! Lets hope this works out. All I have to say is that I can study for University and work on these sites at once!

Here's a very useful tool that helped me decide on what my niches were:

I not only picked out decent keywords, but I also only picked topics I'm interested in (makes the process of building the content and site much easier)

A nice order fell through today (of 20 sites). I'm very happy with it.

Paris!

This morning, I was just thinking about how much I'm going to spend next summer visiting Winnipeg and possibly living there for a few months.. I miss my hometown. It's cold, filled with mosquitoes and small, but the people are so friendly there, I miss my friends and I miss that home feeling.

So.. I was also thinking between 3rd to 4rd year University, I should take a break in Paris! At least with this business I can basically work anywhere (much more flexible than 'offline' jobs). I would just need to bring my laptop along! I would just love some new scenery for once! Canada is awesome, but not Southern Ontario, it's so industrialized. New scene means photography! Hopefully I will have my Nikon D50 SLR bought my then.

nuFrosh homepage is now online

The nuFrosh homepage is finally online. After much contemplation about my new media production & marketing business, I finally found an organic and clean name!

The first step to promoting the site is building up some links to my site. I won't be adding too many because the site is yet to be completed, once it is, I will be submitting the links to several directories and other sites.

Since I want to update my portfolio, I'm going to be offering discounts on some logo designs!
